The final phase of work in the total renovation of a 20,000 m2 office building consists of the creation of a 750-seat Inter Enterprise Restaurant in a semi-buried basement level. The challenges faced by the project:
Bring natural light into the dining areas by creating a planted English courtyard.
Incorporate the technical needs of a large kitchen into an existing building that is not intended for this purpose.
Create an atmosphere of relaxation and conviviality with a limited budget in a basement.The reinforced concrete structure of the building is left visible to pace the volumes and create a contrast with the workplace. The organization of the kitchen, dining and laundry areas, in circuit around the central core, contributes to the optimal operation of the restaurant during busy times.
