The fountain reclaims, for the public, a strip of central reservation in a busy central traffic avenue of Kyoto. The fountain basin links two hard landscaped squares accessible to the public via the existing pedestrian crossings A grid of masts of varying height are crowned by aspecially fabricated blue diode lighting outlining a virtual sinuous geometric form in the night sky. A rich variety of materials bring colour and animation to the otherwise grey urban landscape ; red granite from china, multicoloured glass ceramic from Italy, stainless steel, and planting.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
