A sombre arcade and series of light wells form a barricade between the street and the main reception hall of the city\u2019s media centre. In order to break down this barrier \u2018light and communication\u2019 animate the interstice in the form of suspended plasma screens housed in luminous blue polycarbonate bubbles. By day the screens inform with local events and display mediacentre work, by night the bubbles light the arcade.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
